Mahdia is a Tunisian coastal city located at 205 kilometers (about 127 miles) in the south of Tunis...
Being the county town of the governorate and bearing its name, Mahdia is a borough of 45,977 inhabitants.
Initially built on a peninsula of 1,400 meters long and 500 meters wide, it has one of the first fishing ports of the country.
